Bots

The MFA process could be an obstacle to bots. To prevent this and disable the MFA for these Citadel clients, we need to identify precisely your Citadel bot. For that reason, please follow the following process:

1. Declare your intention to your Citadel fleet administrator:

   1. Get an email which will be used to register your bot.

   2. Declare the user agent which will be set in the bot HTTP requests (cf. User-Agent HTTP request header).

   3. Declare the public IP address(es) from which the bot HTTP requests will be sent.

2. Your request is transmitted by your fleet administrator to the Citadel Customer Success team.

3. We update our security rules to disable the MFA for your bot according to the given information (intention/email/user-agent/public ips).

4. We notify your fleet administrator once the security rules updated.

5. Your bot is able to login/logout as described here.
